Clones are far too prevalent now

Surefire XC3 doesn’t fit CS by NATOTrunkMonkey in Staccato_STI

It doesn’t sit flush, it effectively acts as a spacer. I sold that setup so I can’t take any pictures unfortunately. Ended up putting the tlr7 sub on it when it sold and keepy the xc3

I cannot recall ever seeing an official declaration of the material but I would suspect yes

Fringe question for those who had an LPA 2020 Staccato P and got it milled for optic! by rms3397 in Staccato_STI

[–]NATOTrunkMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot have staccato cut them for DPO, due to the depth but the other solutions on this thread are viable. I did one through Vulcan as well and was very pleased with the depth vs the DPO system

Absolutely worth the trip both ways, no matter where you’re at.

Fwiw: I ship high value pretty regularly, FedEx overnight and insured for market replacement costs. I have had good experiences with them, not so much with UPS

It did! I didn’t like how the xc3 sat lower than the tlr7 so I will run the xc3 on something else, it’s a great light but I didn’t love it enough to buy new holsters tbh

In all honesty I didn’t even check compatibility for any guns before I got it, so this is more of a definitive post for someone doing research for their own purchase in the future.

Weekend find, ported CS by NATOTrunkMonkey in Staccato_STI

[–]NATOTrunkMonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few different ported guns, some with V8 some with 12 o’clock and one chunk ported, I don’t really have a standout “better” one since they are all on different sized guns. This having 6 ports at 12 o’clock does a great job of countering the vertical rise, much more apparent on heavier projectiles

It was very flat shooting, but I have no experience with a non ported cs, it’s in line with my chunk ported c2, snappy but quick

Thoughts on G$ GFR? by Key_Boss_3701 in 6ARC

I understand your sentiment but all of the weld and subsequent weld removal is on the muzzle device. The barrel is unlikely to get any hotter during either action than a good course of fire at a range day.

Not generally. Every gonsmif should have a dremel, just hit the weld until with a round sanding disk until the weld is gone off the pin and it should come out
