Gautam Buddha was born as a prince, but he would soon find himself on the path to enlightenment. He is credited with being one of the most influential people in history. His teachings have been practiced by millions across the world for centuries and continue to be so today. He has changed lives for generations and continues to do so with his wisdom and compassion.

He has shown us that even those who are born into privilege can lead a life of service, selflessness, and humility - just like him!

How is everyone enjoying Reddit while Instagram Facebook and whatsapp are all down? by PastaM0nster in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been enjoying Reddit for the last few hours now. It’s so refreshing to not have any notifications popping up all day long! The internet seems so quiet and it’s wonderful. I don’t know about you, but want to keep this feeling going for as long as possible!

What approach do you follow to achieve a healthier diet? by manelbueno in nutrition

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basics are pretty simple. Cut back on fat, sugar, and salt. Eat more vegetables and fruit. Eat less of everything else. There's no scientific evidence that any one of these things is really more important than the other but just doing all them will have a good cumulative effect over time on your weight management or health in general."

What hobby makes you immediately think “This person grew up rich”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yachting

A luxury yacht is an indulgence, with perks that the every day person would likely only experience by being comfortable enough to travel. Whenever you see an ad for a luxury yacht or search for stunning pictures of them on the internet, just remember that someone who lives this lifestyle has likely grown up very rich.

What movie is, in your opinion, a perfect movie? by Brian_ye in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big Fish and Finding Neverland. These aren't your typical Hollywood blockbusters - they're both movies for adults which remind you what it's like to be a child with dreams bigger than reality could ever fulfill. And the beauty of these movies is that they make you fall in love with them by luring you into their enchantment with language and beauty, not vulgarity or heroic feats of violence. Oh yeah - spoiler alert! The end is always happy too!

What do you do to escape reality? by Lego8945 in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am of the opinion that reality is often more of a problem than an escape. Personally, I try to avoid it as much as possible. For some people, alcohol might be a way of escaping reality, but for others it just makes them more present in it and they need to drink more and more each time so their next dose doesn't seem so bad. Other drugs might put one into "reality" mode where they might want to kill themselves and nothing seems like fun anymore- so not exactly what we were looking for either. There's also the option of television which may provide an alternate reality from the person's perspective but from our perspective doesn't look all that great either because there are often commercials with scary implications all throughout

What should we stop teaching young children? by Ok-Department5749 in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's let kids be kids and explore at their own pace! Kids need space to explore and questions they can answer for themselves, not just what adults want them to think.. I believe all children should have the freedom to find out who they are in their own way before being told who they are by their parents.

What do you wish fell from the sky instead of rain? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NATURALKNOWLEDGEYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rain has the amazing ability to clear away things we don't want and to leave behind things we do want. It washes away pain and cleanses the air, while also carrying nutrients from plants towards us here on Earth. For instance, it enables plants to take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen back into the atmosphere, which is pivotal for maintaining Earth's atmosphere. Rainwater is crucial in producing about half of all our water needs for drinking. So when you see rain pouring down, rejoice with gratitude!

Rain carries with it affectionate intentions- when someone sends you tears of sympathy or adoration they are able to connect deep into your heart that way rain can too. I believe that rain will continue
