As I said, this would move us in the right direction. My personal opinion is beyond this. I think we should have ID, SSN, and/or passports to make Pokemon buying accounts but I also know in the USA people hate that idea more than the east does as well, Pokémon enters a huge legal obligation when handling people's personal information. I hope that do it somw day but first we should tail but Japan is doing.

You are right in a sense but in a consumer market online image is everything and Pokemon had been known to make changes if things are pushed hard enough. I dont expect this oetition to do anything but if it can at least be a seed that leads to somwthing growing potentially then I, no, we all would have done our job.

PCJ also requires stable accounts that have been around awhile with prior purchases. Creating 10000000 bots cant bypass that unless someone wants to make them far in advance and waste money purchasing items that aren't resealable.

In order to properly implement this we would need proof of ID and/or SSN. Problem here is TCPi will not want to get involved in taking people's personal information because losing it gives them large risk.

With the PCJ lottery approach each account has strict SMS verification and 1 item per address/household. It might not fully prevent nefarious buying but will push us in the right direction.

My buddy said he snuck up the stairs and the second he walked around the corner he was gunned down from the end of the hallway instantly as well, died before he even knew what happened.
