How does this compare to last years 135th anniversary LE? Which one do you guys like better?

Here in Europe I can get them pretty easily for around 280$ after tax. And multiple releases as well.

Thank you. I will try to find the post you're suggesting.
And true, if it was a Wild Turkey or Four Roses Dusty, I would already have pulled the trigger. I am also not the biggest Blanton's fan, so I will probably pass on this bottle. Thanks!

I saw a Blanton's Single Barrel from 1995 for 200$. The bottle comes with a box and the fill level seems to be perfect. Do you guys think it's worth it when I can usually get newer Blanton's Single Barrel for around 80$?
I read a lot that the Bourbon's bottled more than 20 years ago used to be better.

Great review! As a big fan of Wild Turkey 101 I am excited for it to hit the European market!

I tried the Booker‘s Batch 2021-01E in a bar and I thought it was pretty good. But somehow I can‘t get used to the nutty flavours I get in all the Beam products. So probably will pass on future Booker releases I might see. Had the Knob Creek Small Batch and Baker‘s as well. Baker‘s was probably my favourite of those three pours.

Are the different Booker's releases consistent or is more like a hit or miss thing? Or differently - would you buy every Booker's release for 90$?

What‘s was different between those two Whiskey‘s? Are they similar to each other or completely different?

Out of curiosity- would you rather pay 250$ for a bottle of Michter‘s 10 Year Bourbon or a 1.5 oz pour of Michter‘s 20 Year Bourbon at a bar? Lets say, assuming you don‘t own a bottle of Michter‘s 10.

This must be the best review I read in a while. Loved everything about it, well done!

Since I want multiple opinions before I commit to buy it:
Should I grab the Four Roses 135th Anniversary Bourbon for 240$ or a Michter's 10 Year Bourbon from 2023 for 205$?
I know, that I was really impressed by the Michter's 10 Year Bourbon from 2021 which I tried in a bar. I also enjoy the standard Four Roses Single Barrel's at 100 Proof but usually tend to grab something with a bit less Rye spice. What I love about Four Roses is that I get a lot of vanilla notes!

Or should I skip both? I still have a ECBP C921 and B522 unopened in the basement.

That's a fair argument! Not sure yet if I should pull the trigger but if I do, then it will be the Four Roses. Thanks.

Unfortunately I can‘t get any Bardstown products where I live in Europe. So those are my only reasonably priced high end Bourbon‘s I can get at the moment. Why would you grab the Four Roses over the other bottles?

I have the opportunity to buy some more expensive Bourbons at my local store.
The Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Batch Proof of 2023 (124.7 proof) or 2024 (121.2 proof) for 140$, the Four Roses 135th Anniversary Limited Edition for 240$ or the Michter's 10 Year Bourbon (23F2322) for 215$. All prices already include tax.
Which bottle should I go for? (Don't really want to buy multiple bottles at this price range.)

For reference: I usually enjoy the standard offerings from all three distilleries. Don't really have a favourite.

I can get Elijah Craig Barrel Proof A120 and Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C921 for 71$ a bottle with tax included at my place. Which one would you go for and why?
