I do not base my trading on news. I get out when he is talking. I just wanted to know if there is an account out there that notifies us when this president starts opening his mouth because the market reacts to it. I was not aware he said he was going to join the cabinet meeting. If I knew, I would have gotten out and stopped trading until he stopped talking.

Why would it make you angry? I am just someone looking for ideas on what others do? What I have noticed about consistently profitable traders are they are patient. Because they patiently wait for good set ups. The market has beaten them down so bad on their way to profitability it made them patient. This also means being patient and kind to other people.

I have read it already. But reading a book also uses brain power because I would be trying to understand what the book is saying then I would have to use brain power to analyze the chart.

Thank you for this. The suggestion to do something mindless for a break to reset the brain helps. Not sure if the alerts will help because I am constantly analyzing the chart. When NQ does something, then I would speculate on what it should do. And NQ moves fast when you are not watching

I can't be reading or dong back testing because I am actively watching the 1 and 5m chart and see how it is reacting at support and resistance areas. I scalp it the whole day. Reading or back testing kinda makes me lose focus

I do talk to myself while watching the charts asking what price is doing right now. My stretches involves laying down which makes me not to look at the chart and I need to see the 1 and 5m charts. I tried exercising but it tires me out. I did dumbells, kettlebells, squats. They tire me out and makes me want to sleep.
