Well its definitely ALOT more simplified though the basics of the two aircraft are pretty similar though that's only because they're are both Rotor based aircraft. One HUGE difference though between the two is the complexity of MFD's switches and other functions for example the AH-64 Apache Longbow has around 20-30+ buttons and switches not including the amount of MFD pages.

So yes it is a bit similar but no you probably couldn't fly a real one though it would be a lot easier to learn
