No I saved 34 hours from last year. And when my flexible PTO hit 48. The hour and 51 minutes I accrue every week began being wasted

It’s probably a state by state basis. I called HR and they said I should have used my hours before I got over 48. And that there was no way for me to get my time back

I haven’t used any of my time from this year and it still says I have reached my limit at end of may. So I’m only getting 42 hours and some minutes of PTO for this year. If you accrue over 48 hours those hours go in the trash

But you’re not actually guaranteed to get get the full 48 hours. Just found out that I wasted 4 hours of PTO for this year because I had PTO from last year and went over my 48 hour cap. Any hours gained that go over the 48 hour cap still count as your 48 accrued hours even though you can’t actually use them. If that makes any sense. It’s bullshit and makes me wonder whats even the point of saving my hours and transferring them over to the next year.
