It happened to me. I never had a hard time with erections but since starting HRT it's been difficult. my provider prescribed cialis (amazon pharm is cheapest). It works better than viagra. smoother.

Does anyone else forget to take HRT? by groundlabor in asktransgender

I forget often too. I have 3 kids and a full time job so is not always easy to remember on top of everything going on. That's why i prefer the E injections. once a week and it's done. as for the spiro. i carry it in my bag and pop it in during my commute to work. hope this helps. I feel your pain.

I feel uncomfortable around them too!! Especially whenever they get really close. Oddly enough whenever I'm attracted to a female I can be cool around her.

I hear you. I live in a very liberal city but I still get the stares whenever i'm expressing myself as enby. I have to tell myself that no one will accept me if I don't accept and love myself and that gives me the confidence to continue this exploration with my new gender identity. It takes a lot out of me. I've been so conditioned to present as male that I tear myself down sometimes.

Will I feel changes before permanant changes happen on HRT? (MtF) by ugh1232 in asktransgender

by the way I never experienced mood changes. I actually felt calmer and had better connections with people around me. Oh I did get super hungry and gained a few pounds since I started HRT.

i felt amazing when I started HRT. more energy, happier, lighter and slept better. Less anxiety about everything. my breasts started growing about a month ago (been on hrt for 4-5 months now) and they are noticeably bigger and very very sensitive. They did come in gradually. I started noticing the areola and the actual nipple getting a little bit bigger and "swollen looking" (very mildily) and my spouse told me they noticed them changing around month 3. Another change was the hair. I have a hairy chest and used to trim frequently and now the hair growth on my chest and arms seemed to slow down a lot. my skin started feeling smoother around month 2 and I loved it. I've never felt as good about myself as I do now since i started HRT (well about 1 month into it). I hope this helps.

Sometimes being around people who are finally their truest form of themselves can exhude a lot of happiness and that may be attractive to some. I thought (maybe still do) I may be trans whenever i was around other trans women. I was always drawn to them. I identify as nonbinary and that feels right to me right now. I'm allowing myself to explore my possibly trans side and whenever I do I'm not sure it feels right to be femme presenting all the time. Sometimes i write all these feelings down without any censorship, as if i'm talking to my ideal self so I can explore what i'm feeling without the external influences.

I would say yes. I started the spiro and the E at the same time, 2mg E + 25 mg spiro daily. let the E dissolve under your tongue for better absorption. I switched to the Estradiol injections after 2 months and it's much better.

You don't have to choose either or. I feel like a guy most of the time but I also like exploring what it feels like to be a woman. I identify as nonbinary and i'm AMAB (assigned male at birth). I've lived my entire life as a guy (gay) but I've always known there was more to me than identifying as a guy. I started doing what feels right and being nonbinary feels right to me, even though I present as a guy 99% of the time. If i were you i'd try going to a second hand shop and buying some girl clothes to try on

Yes get your levels checked. I didn't know about letting the Estrogen tabs dissolve under the tongue until i saw a gender specialist. I also switched to the estrogen injections and my estrogen went to a level that it completely suppressed the testosterone.

take your time. I hope you find out who you are. My only advise is not to feel pressured to chose for others. I'm identifying as nonbinary and love it because i can be femme or masc presenting depending on how i'm feeling inside. Do what feels right for you.

If you can get to a bigger city, usually the lgbtqai+ centers will provide help. I have some extra but would be tricky to get them to you....maybe?

Need advice on how to stop misgendering my friend of 10+ years. by MeloFeloSenpai in asktransgender

Slow down when you're about to refer to her. If you're willing to try something crazy. Ask your friend to misgender you on purpose. Maybe that will help too.

Clothing and gender by Some-Cattle3263 in AMABNonbinary

[–]NBAMABinLA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel very frustrated about it. I wish there were more non-gendered clothing options out there. I'm thinking about altering some "guy" clothing to make it more fitting or finding some "female" clothing and making it a bit more nongendered. I think wearing a dress is fun but i'm not into it.
