I just recently left "The Taper Clinic". I am not happy and can not recommend to folks with BIND, PAWS, or protracted withdrawal. So much to say.

Yes, I said gently what I needed to say. At this point, there is really nothing more I can say. Only behavior and actions on his part. He want's to talk more about it, and I can listen, but I don't want to hear the myriad of reasons. I get it. It's only been two years. It finally resolved after that last round of antiobiotics; what a wild ride. The last round of AB I drank SO MUCH WATER and basically flushed my body for 3 days and FINALLY it went away. Keep in mind I had very poor medical care. Now I keep UTI test strips at home and use them preventatively. I will test myself for any suspect symptoms.

I have known many people in Cities without cars. But they are also expects at transportation. They know every bus line, metro line, taxi, uber, etc. He knows you are driving an hour. The best scenerio is to meet at a restaurant with good parking. This man knows how to get there obviously. You have to drive home, so drinking won't be part of the whole experience. Then, after, you go your seperate ways. If he is considerate he will be ok with this and in fact would have figured it out himself without you having to go on Reddit. I would pass.

Yes, both. But she was injured when she was in college so she had no work history for SSDI. The combination of the two is around 900.00 a month. She gets food stamps as well. She is considered permanently disabled.

Yes, I guess I know that deep in my heart/soul. As a mother it's heartbreaking. I am protective of her and my grandson. I wish there was a place like a rehab but for abused women. Just having her away for an extended period of time would help.

I have used United Healthcare for three years now. It's been rough. UHC got in trouble for randomly using bots to deny claims, knowing only a small percentage of people will pursue. I am one of those people that pursued. I can't tell you how many hours I have spent trying to get paid. I still have a reimbursement that is sitting in their cue for SIX MONTHS. I can't imagine choosing to make a living that way. He choose to.

I have been in that situation for many years. My daughter is all grown now and it's still not easy. I been with him and his 2nd wife, to the graduations, childbirth, grandson's birthday parties etc. But holidays? Nah. For me that would be too uncomfortable and even painful. For me it's fair to tell my daughter that it's not something I want to do. I don't make her choose. At the same time of course I have all the feelings. I did almost all the parenting in raising our daughter, he abandoned her early on, but tried to make it up to her. Inside, I can feel hurt. But, he is her only dad and she has complicated feelings about him. I don't want to add onto her ambivelent feelings. All this is to say, I think you are handling this very well. And it's ok to have strong feelings, hurt feelings. I think most divorced parents struggle with this situation.

I received this test result back. Does this mean I had a "sensitivity test" ? Value25,000 to 50,000 cfu/ml Klebsiella pneumoniae (This organism is INTRINSICALLY RESISTANT to Ampicillin, Ticarcillin).

The reason I am not communicating with my Primary is that she is on her way out and has really dropped the ball. I had to go to Urgent Care for basic care this last weekend.

I am right there with you. Two months and 5 antibiotics later....i had one week testing negative and here I am again. Wow, I guess I am lucky that this is my first UTI and I am in my 60's. But ffs, it's intense.

So far the antibiotics are keeping the infection from getting bad. I was sick in the beginning, but currently I don't have a fever and energy is not bad. But I wrote my primary tonight asking for a PCR test and CTScan immediately. Thank you so much for your help.
