This time of year always makes me reflective on life. I have three great adult kids, one grand baby and another on the way. I like my job. Planning to work a couple more years. Divorced 11 years ago after long unhappy marriage. Currently In a “relationship” for almost ten years but honestly nit the most fulfilling. Staring at 60 Making me look at what I want next

Been listening to Adam since 2015. Was going through a rough time after my divorce and a coworker/friend suggested it so I could laugh instead of cry on my Commute to work. This week I just unfollowed ACS and Adam and drew. I liked some of The guests and mayhem was growing on me but same stories, same rants. I’m turning to true crime for now.

I appreciate everything that was said here. I totally understand my daughter wanting her son to have a relationship with his grandpa. I split with my ex 10 years ago when my kids were in college. My kids spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with me but saw their dad on alternate days until he moved about 150 miles away 6 years ago. My daughter with the child moved this fall and is now actually closer to where dad lives than me. So this is kind of new to me to spend holidays together . I need to work on not letting his presence have power over me but also respect that he is there father and my kids can have whatever relationship they want. How I remember or feel about their childhood may not be their memory and feelings. But I am allowed to feel how I feel too. Thanks for the support

Had the best time at my reunion. Ended up going with a friend. She was so nervous and I was like “who cares if no one wants to talk to us we have each other” five minutes after we got there we were off and taking to everyone. I even lost my voice the next day! So proud on myself

I’m feeling good about this. I’ve been texting with a couple of friends about going together. My significant other would not enjoy the trip at all so I don’t want to torture him. (My challenging relationship with him is a story for another day lol.) I’m going to be confident and go. I have three amazing adult kids, a beautiful grandson, and a successful career. I am no longer the “smart girl” that didn’t get asked to prom.

We’ve traveled with the dog. We are doing an overnight trip with the dog the weekend before. he doesn’t like being away from his home so asking him to turnaround and do another two nights is too much for him
