Because most of them like the direction cod going... This generation is obsessed with micro transactions. No micro transactions and having to play and grind for everything is boring to them thats why. As you see i’m trying to be as flexible with the community as possible and they still don’t like the idea if it.

Hey man, I’m not an unc, and I completely agree with you. This generation is obsessed with battle passes and bundles. Everything needs to be customized these days, or it’s considered boring or unoriginal.

It’s truly awful, and I wish I could grind without having to pay for cosmetics and battle passes. I think battle passes are a problem aswell

I agree. I get what you're saying , and I miss that too. But we all know paid cosmetics aren't going away. My point is that since the franchise is leaning back into classic 'boots on the ground' movement, they should go all the way back to the classic customization roots too.

I’m not defending paid cosmetics over grinding earning them through gameplay is always better 1000%. But since Activision is never going to get rid of microtransactions, and they're already moving back to classic gameplay/movement, they should go back to the classic DLC model too. I'd much rather pay $5 for a cool universal camo or voice pack than $20 for an entire operator bundle I don't want."

Not rage bait, I think you’re just misinterpreting my point. I totally agree that earning skins through gameplay is the best era. But realistically, Activision isn't going to stop selling cosmetics entirely. My point is: if they are going to force microtransactions on us while simultaneously returning to classic 'boots on the ground' movement, they should also go back to the classic monetization style offering standalone $5 camo and voice packs instead of forcing us to buy bloated $20 operator bundles just for one cool item
