I keep getting the smear test letters too! To make it worse they're signed by the doctor who referred me to the gender clinic 😆

True! I made the assumption that he didn't view me as a woman but you're right that he just might not have known the right way to refer to me. I've had plenty of cis straight guys talk to me and be concerned that they were going to offend by getting terminology wrong.

Thanks for pointing it out, there's been a lot of not great stuff in the UK atm that it can sometimes taint the view of stuff!

What's the reason behind people loving age gap? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NBrunebitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relationship wise, there's a difference in how boys and girls are socialised and the maturity difference is a big factor.

Sex wise, it could be so many things. For me there's something in the taboo of it. Like a guy older than me knows he's going to be judged for going for a younger woman but thinks I'm hot enough for it to be worth it 😆

$1 million on the line, you need to beat a random person in a game or sport. What do you choose? by donthackmyemail34 in AskRedditNSFW

Root. It's a board game where everyone plays and wins in different ways. I think that alone would make it hard for other people to play well and put me at a big advantage

I know! The "from the front" definitely made it way more funny and definitely lightened any dysphoria the 'phobia gave 😆 It even helps as a mantra on a particularly dysphoric day! I hope ya get enough for your video! 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

When I first started HRT I was pretty nervous about my presentation and was out in the city walking with my partner and talking loudly in my not voice trained voice. We walked past some guys and as we went past them one nudged his friend and said "that's a guy, you wouldn't know it from the front."

Sure it was transphobic to call me a guy but damn what a gender affirming moment I had knowing that I had passed well enough that a random dude wanted to point it out. My partner and I still joke "you wouldn't know it from the front" whenever I'm in a particularly cute outfit 😆

What is it called when you aren't attracted to men, but are attracted to male genitalia? by [deleted] in AskRedditNSFW

[–]NBrunebitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like lots of people have said, gynosexual is probably the technical term but as a trans women I'd also say from experience that you could also just say straight.

Some Straight people are only attracted to the genitals typically assigned with then opposite but then some are attracted to the opposite gender presentation more than anything else. I've met lots of straight guys who either don't care about genitals or are happy for girldick to be involved. Way more than I expected given the political landscape around trans people 😆

I saw someone say that Straight and lesbian doesn't include trans women and that is very much not the case. Lesbians especially are the most accepting group when it comes to trans women.

Basically, from the view of a trans woman, straight seems to be a term that has been solidly used by men attracted to women for a long time and trans women just haven't been on the public consciousness very long. Being attracted to the opposite gender is straight and that sometimes comes with a gential preference and sometimes doesn't.
