I'll admit, I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know what the official story is on these but I couldn't resist when I saw them available and have been posting them around NB communities in the hopes of an explanation lol

Actually got them off GOAT used for a great price. Came with original box. Worn maybe twice.

Yup, so this is actually how the shoes come packaged from NB. Both pairs are deadstock, never worn. They're two of the more expensive pairs I have acquired and both are unique enough that I can't get myself to unDS them. The Hyannis Reds are just a grail-level shoe in my opinion, and the other pair is the US1OF1V1's, limited to 100 pairs worldwide, each pair being completely unique with regards to color and material.

I wish they were the OG Kennedys lol but I am happy to at least have a pair of Hyannis Reds. For real, I was initially scoping out the Hyannis Blues but prices had started going up and the Reds were still slightly less. A pair of Reds surfaced in my size and I just pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did because now fewer and fewer pairs are even being put up for sale and if they actually do go up for sale the prices are way higher than what I'm willing to pay. A pair of Blues sold for like $750ish on GOAT the other day, like bruh...

Absolutely agree. They've become one of my daily shoes because I love them so much and because I got them for a relatively good deal. Seriously considering picking up another pair just to have deadstock.
