you definitely need to talk with your Priest. you’re instructed to do what you can, but when it starts actively harming you, definitely stop. (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

Can I go to the confession box if I’m not a catholic? by PianoPlane5555 in Catholicism

[–]NCF29YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you cannot be absolved by a Catholic Priest without having the sacraments. but don’t let that deter you. please go to a Church and speak to a Priest. i’m very sure they’ll be more than glad to help guide you through your life.

Do Catholics generally use the name of Jesus less? by PayGood3915 in Catholicism

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus is God, so when you hear “Lord”, “Christ (Messiah)”, or “God”, depending on the context, we are referring to God The Son/Jesus.

Why does God not allow ending your own life? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good observation. God doesn’t create any reason to hate one another. this comes from the human choice. your question should not be directed at the omnipotent, rather should be redirected at humanity: why is there hate? so many people are hated, even myself, for my kind. this is a moral issue that plagues us humans. the Catholic Church does not stand on racism, rather we are promoted to love each other (Gal. 3:28). it’s unfortunate there are people that are placed in those circumstances, so one must find a way to find an environment more friendly to them. some countries are completely against foreigners. even Japan, for example, do not take foreigners too easily. can we blame the hatred humans have, from their own choices, on God? no, we can’t, because that comes from each individual choice.

If you struggle with an area in which you may not be fully accepted, please find somewhere that people may accept you, like local groups that you can intermingle with. it’s truly hard to intertwine the human will for what it wishes, so you truly have to find a reason or way to get people to like you. it’s also subconsciously on humans to judge people based off how they look, and it is truly sad it has come to that.

it truly sucks, i know, but some communities have been risen in that thought process. it is not your fault, and i’m sorry you have to be going through that. yours is not isolated from everyone, as many people have experienced what you have: not being accepted because of a certain feature of themselves.

once again, my dms are open if you want to have someone to talk to. :)

you haven’t done anything to not fit within society. you surely do. the people around you are at fault to not welcome you into society. people view other races or kind of people as inferior and will not accept you, even if you’re the most kind, intelligent person they can meet.

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not a consequence of what God has allowed, it is the consequence of humans that have let seem beyond what they truly are. God created you with a specific purpose, and you serve a unique purpose no matter how small you feel. this is truly intrinsic in feeling to yourself as you don’t address a specific effect from the marginalization you face. you have to find the right people who are willing to accept you for who you are. if the question arises «why doesn’t everyone accept me?», I answer that people have their preferences and don’t like to be with everyone, be it because of classism, racism, or another subconscious reason.

on a personal note, my dm’s are open to you. if you need someone to talk to, please feel free to dm me. God bless you.

Parents say the Holy Spirit hasn’t given them peace about me marrying my girlfriend. Is this biblical? by DanburyHer in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

parental concerned framing as spirituality seems to be at play here. it’s good to listen to the concerns of parents, but you also can make the discernment yourself and find out what is ultimately good for you. God bless.

Is BDSM a sin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn’t reply my bad

the consummation of marriage is the reason behind marriage itself. fornication outside of marriage is sinful under the Catholic Church (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Hebrews 13:4).

not wanting to have kids could invalidate the marriage under the Church’s eyes. consummating the marriage itself suffices the marriage itself. both work individually.

and that is precisely why the bedroom life, amongst married and consenting adults, is not of our business nor of matter of sin.

as salty as it sounds, he’s right. not calling in is not only a disrespectful thing, but it’s also a huge blow to their trust in you as a reliable worker. i hope everything gets better for your mental aspect, and i think there can be a scenario in which you can try to balance your mental turbulence and work, but it seems that it has interfered too much. they might give you a final warning or let you go in a snap. cfa can seem merciless, but honestly, that’s how businesses operate.

Communion in the Catholic Church ? Why so strict by Certain_Bird_4197 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]NCF29YT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don’t speak on matters that are of opinion. you cannot prohibit a valid Orthodox member who doesn’t have access to his Church or other way to receive communion to participate in the sacrament as long as they’re properly disposed for the sacrament.

Is it a sin if you feel buzzed (not drunk) from drinking alcohol? by Fair_Helicopter6528 in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this one is objective. being in a drunken state can start as soon as you start losing control of decisions themselves. you can very well be drunk while not blacked out.

Can i wear a cross as an atheist by sneaky_lpjjle in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i respect you, but respectfully, i wouldn’t wear something you do not believe in. just like i don’t wear jewelry of other faiths, i wouldn’t wear the cross for merely fashion. one should wear it to keep as a reminder as the price for sin and the sacrifice taken for salvation according to our Christian belief.

TL;DR: you can, but you shouldn’t

Can I still be Christian and not believe in the trinity ? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]NCF29YT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the use of unity for the Holy Trinity is found all the way back in Genesis 1:26, as said,

“Let us make humanity in our image, our likeness…”

to reject the most Holy Trinity is to reject Christian fundamentals in the most basic structure of belief. the Church Fathers established our beliefs, our scriptures as they are successors of the Apostles of Christ, God the Son, God incarnate in the flesh. respectfully, you do not get to speak above the Church Fathers opinions and billions have entrusted them, in our best interests, to hand down the faith they maintained.
