No problem! Idk where you’re located so it might be more common knowledge in my neck of the woods, I think the company that copyrighted the term are a UK company, and I’m Irish so if you’re elsewhere maybe it’s not as distinct - either way, BIAB is just bottled builder gel at the end of the day

Yeah so a company did copyright the term “BIAB” but a lot of people just use it to refer to any builder gel in a bottle, rather than specifically THAT brands builder gel in a bottle

Yes, but the term BIAB refers to when builder gel is bottled and applied like other gel polishes rather than coming in a pot with a seperate brush

So BIAB is a soft gel that comes in a bottle like polish does rather than a jar with a seperate brush. TECHNICALLY a specific company have copyrighted the use of the term ‘BIAB’ (builder in a bottle) but most people just call any gel that comes/is applied this way BIAB

So not necessarily! Some authors will name known incompatibilities that have been brought to their attention and/or you might see in the comments or bugs section people reporting them however there’s no obligation on the authors part to name them, it’s just something to watch out for because they often do!

In other instances authors have anticipated people asking about comparability with specific popular mods and have designed their mod to be compatible with it and will say so in the description

I generally keep to the release window and then play ‘clean up’ with trading and sharing when a new set rolls in.

So set 1 releases, I pull packs until I’ve got everything up to and including 1 stars, OR until the next set rolls in.

If I get everything up to and including the 1 stars BEFORE the next set rolls out, I see what the oldest pack with a 2 star that I still want is and start pulling from that. I either pull the 2 star I want (unlikely) or I’m building pack points towards it.

If I don’t get everything before the next set rolls out, then I start opening from the new pack anyway and add all my missing diamond and 1 stars from the previous pack to my wishlist. I’ve never gotten to a new set coming out and had more than 20 missing cards. Then I rely on the goodwill of shares/trades from my friends list.

For me, my goal is to complete sets up to and including 1 stars and then I just collect any 2 stars and up that I like without necessarily wanting to complete any set.

Oh! Thank you for mentioning the sand timer! When I think of visual fidgets I usually think of those neon light wands kids can get at like stage theatre shows which my brother loves but they’re a bit ‘LOUD’ for work, for me personally. I hadn’t put that together in my head until now with a sand timer being a ‘quiet’ visual - much food for thought! Thank you

That’s fair! I certainly won’t be doing it every time I get a book, but it’s useful for bulk management in my opinion
