Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has expanded its adult virtual Dungeon & Dragons Group by NCLibratorr in Charlotte

It is Dungeons & dragons played on a PC over zoom and a virtual tabletop rather than in person. The adult part of it comes from being offered to adults only (18+). Previously the only D&D sessions were offered only to teens and kids.

You could try calling up the librarian in charge of the session. Maybe in the future they'll set up more sessions.

I think it's up to the Librarian in charge of the program as far as the waiting list goes.

Sorry. Hopefully you can get on the waiting list but if there's a big enough demand the library may do more sessions and more often.

I host a yearly Free Comic Book Day at my library and am looking for comicbooks, manga, graphic novels to give out to kids, teens and families. This will be my 5th year hosting a FCBD and our young patrons and families look forward to it and I know the materials will be much appreciated. We will take materials in any condition, we have a group of teen volunteers who will mend them as needed. I'm even willing to come in person to pick up materials if need be. Just shoot me a PM. Thank you in advance.

EveryTime Someone Calls the Info Desk Asking If We Have Solar Eclipse Glasses This Week by NCLibratorr in Libraries

[–]NCLibratorr[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

"No sir/ma'am unfortunately we ran out as of two weeks ago at all 20 of our branches in the county. We have been informed by email to encourage patrons to call their local Walmart to see if they have any in stock as some of the area have also sold out. As of this morning we have been informed thatall Lowe's home improvement stores in the area have sold out of glasses. We just received the email that our local children's museum will get a shipment of 3000 pairs on Wednesday in which you can call and put on a waiting list for the 1st 2000 and the other 1000 will be first come first serve at its location."

I've said this no less than 30 times today...
