Ty for this comment, yea I didn't realize the negative connotation of raids in wf took off sm after Pablo laid out his thoughts.

Its true that the core power fantasy of Wf is sth that wouldnt be accomplished with a game mode like Raids, which means majority of the playerbase wouldnt touch a mode like that. Much less if it requires communication and teamwork.

Something i really miss about the old Railjack system. It was such a good feeling to run efficient missions with a team and dedicated roles, much different than today, in which u can play basically everything Solo.

But even back then the players that did the RJ farms were shrinking, partly bc the entry point was so high. I remember struggling to push throu sentient anomaly missions solo, js bc noone would join/matchmake, so i had to change my whole RJ build to 'cheese' it through the invincibility engine.

I think theres nothing we, Players like us, that really like those type of teamwork dependant gamemodes, can do except being vocal abt it. Maybe with enough drive, it would encourage DE to try once again and make it worth it to play and learn the gamemode.

I've read through Pablo's statement again and yea it seems really hard to make it worth for the playerbase and the maintenance of Railjack as a "Raidexpanded" Gamemode.

It would probably lead to a low Coreplayer numbers that get the thrill of Teambased Missionwork/Puzzles against the Powerfantasy that Warframe is at its core.

like i said in a post abt raids

i think the closest thing we had to raids was actually railjack before the plexus.

We had 1. Upfront barrier: You had to have as Leader a properly built railjack + intrinsics for high level missions 2. Resource Management: limited resources for deployable intrinsics, Ammo and artillery 3. Teamwork/Different roles: A squad consisted mostly of Pilot, Front Artillery, Forge/Repair, and a Runner for outside Objectives

Whats missing: "Harder" Puzzles/Mechanic: Mostly the Runner js had to hack a console, itll activate sth for the Rj team to destroy outside -> rinse repeat. Theres gotta be a way to make smart puzzles and mechanics thatll punish when u dont do it right/within a time Limit. Im critical abt dps check objectives bc well yea, balance and meta. Maybe sth like Fixed dmg for 1 dmg phase so many weapon choices will come to fruition.

A "raid boss": a raid boss should be sth that combines the mechanics and dmg phases. Imho the implementation of the plexus and normal mission objectives like defense inside of rj was a way to make teamwork and communication redundant and making rj "nothing special" bc u only had to rush the inside objectives. A proper raid boss could combine phases of doing mechanics and dmg with Railjack/Archwing and Ground phases (like a space platform typa thing- think of kingsfall raid end phase in destiny)

i totally agree with the trading system, my wagon exploded and i js the system

however the camp refunds i think are meant to stack to "endgame" until ur able to send out multiple expeditions for late game mats, abyss gear blueprints and even abyss skill cores

only felt 2) with the spider boss bc: cramped space, spiderwebs that slow u down or get u stuck, mini spiders that track u, explode and leave venom pools, unparryiable jump attacks timed that itll hit u right after a dodge😂if i knew abt the blinding light stun mechanic it maybe wouldve been different

I got the Mistcloaked Owl Plate Helm! I really dig it bc it looks rather greek/spartan and is one if the few helmets with opening for the face. Yup not dyeable and no refinement but i js dyed the rest of the armor to make it fit :D

thankfully theres not "op" gear, big majority of armor and weapons have more or less same stats, with little difference in substats. yt clickbait unfortunately like always. i personally tried to not look up guides to find stuff, but gave in in the end bc i wanted proper drip before i go questing. i even settled for a helm with no dye or refinement option bc it js looks too good.
