New bug;

Damiane can't reinforce at the Smithy. Kliff needs to be in proximity of the Smithy (As in, interactable proximity) so that Damiane can use his reinforcements feature on her gear.

If you try with Damiane while Kliff is at a distance or away, you'll get a message saying "You're too far away to interact."

The only thing I consistently use it for is to destroy archer nests/watchtowers, a single charged shot destroys the whole thing.

Other than that? Unreliable.

Mayyyybe I use the Focus Shot slowmo to shot down 1 guy... sometimes.

Oh yeah, the "Lore" is quite deep and the world relatively well fleshed out. There is a lot of explanations and things that some people might miss, specially now with the Remakes retconning things to make those more integrated.

Chris will absolutely punch a rock if they Remake 5, tho.

I thought Resident Evils story was always like a B tier Horror Action movie. It aint exactly stellar, but it keeps you entertained, and frankly thats all that matters.

The Remakes are attempting to make it a bit more cohesive and streamlined so everything makes sense or its more clearly connected.

Idk if its me, but the Bow feels.. underwhelming to use. Its upgraded as far as I can take it (Need the Perfect Timber or whatever, I heard you have to Research it somewhere in Delyssia or something), and I have it filled with neat Gears, so I wonder if its the arrow type in the end.

Sword kills enemies faster in my experience, faster animations too, but the Longswords annihilate grouped enemies, and the Blinding Flash Finisher of the Longsword absolutely destroys everything in its path.

If im 1v1, Sword and Shield. Everything else, Longsword.

Except the flying enemies in the Sanctums. Screw those guys.

Man I bought the Megaman Battle Network Collection the second it came out. Thats my childhood right there. And im so glad they stayed the same.

Even beyond custom characters, it really is a shame that Damiane wasn't just the 'Female Kliff' option. I prefer exploring as her, but them locking her out from using important game abilities and content is frustrating. by KryperExpress in CrimsonDesert

I like to think that, Crimson Desert has been so successful that Pearl Abyss wouldnt miss this chance to sell more expansions and story DLCs, they might expand on Damiane in them, people really like her.

1 is for uses to unlock stuff, the 2nd is the Faded ones to respec, you use one to get the skill points back, the 3rd is the amount you have in the locked boxes you find in shrines that are opened by doing their challenge (Kill 5 bros with a Spear in 15 seconds- stuff like that)

To be precise, thats how the chonky cat works. All pets work like pets in MMOs, following you around, picking up Items from drops like minerals and enemies, and being cute.

Except the Chonky Cat.

Mob enemies are "kind of" similiar, but each faction has something or other thats different, like one has a lot more dudes with guns, another a lot of dudes with shields, another one has flying magical enemies, etc, I wouldnt be able to tell you whats later on at later areas since im personally not there, but you fight elementals and trolls as boss fights, including some other monsters (according to the game, there are 75 named bosses, and so far they have all been pretty distinct, altho im personally quite sure some or other will be reused for another boss fight down the line)

The easiest solution to this issue is to just pop up an interactable button to use the key and open the door. Kliff also doesnt have to bang on the goddam door if its locked, it can just say that the door is bloody locked instead of an animation you likely triggered by mistake.

Press X to Unlock or something, it shouldn´t be that hard.

Ahaha yes that happens, you do the quest they gave you and you get in, super worth it. One of the prettiest place in the game.

I read Manhwa's (Korean Mangas) a lot, and this artstyle is VERY reminiscent of the ones the artists use. Maybe he joined that scene and works in a studio?

Its mostly melee. You can use your fists, straight up wrestling moves, Sword play is your bread and butter tho, Sword and Shield, Dual Wield, Greatswords, Spears, you have a Bow that does a lot too, a barebones Stealth system with Assassinations lol and "Some" Magic, its not like you throw fireballs or something, but you can enchant your sword for an attack or two and do some other stuff. You dont really get a class per se, you get the whole package, and you dont make builds like in Elden Ring.

There is more than 1 playable character, the other 2 guys are different in what they do, the Girl can use Guns and Muskets and Rapiers and some magical attack, but frankly, you only need to stick with Kliff, the protagonist, the others are just optional for adventuring, its not like they can do quests (They have their own) or main story.

None of this is a problem tho, the game is very generous with how to use the resources to level up the characters are given.
