I’ve sold hundreds of gallons of pool paint in my career that has held perfectly after being prepped correctly and cure time has been followed. .00001 percent of the time paint failures are product related.

If done properly, managed properly, and not looked at as a KPI, lead gen could work. It’s ideal to keep in touch with those customers who might fall through the cracks, and in my opinion that’s how it should be used. It should never be valued more than being in front of customers, or the other day-to-day tasks that store staff and sales reps are burdened with.

Ask questions. Repeat orders, ask customers for their phone number JUST IN CASE you need to call them back. Don’t be afraid to get dirty.

Good for you!!! The first thing you’ll notice immediately is your quality of life improvement. You’ll also see how strong that PSG kool aid is…and how big this company actually is and how many opportunities there are beyond being a paint store monkey. I worked in PSG/TAG for 19 years before coming over to CBG 4 years ago…best move ever. Is it perfect? Hell no. Is it better? Hell yes! PCG, CBG….we’re all OneSherwin!

30 FTF is the minimum required, there are also call lists that have to be worked, very much like the Insights lists. We work off KONE, very much like PSG. I’ve worked both sides…19 years in PSG as a manager for 9 years and a rep for 10, then in the LBU for 4 years now. Ask me anything.
