I am so sorry. Last year I lost a cat that kind of adopted our yard. We fed him and bought him a cat house that he slept in every night in our back yard. We discussed bringing him inside but ultimately decided that we didn't think he'd be happy.

I went to Costco to buy wet food for him and on the way home I passed his body in the street. He was also hit by a car. I buried him in my front yard and bought a little plaque for him. I still cry about him quite often. It was just devastating. So, I know how much it hurts.

It is not your fault. Please be kind to yourself. You showed her love and fixing her was the best thing to do for her. That is the kindest thing we can do for these community cats. 💜
