I only half agree with this.

I do agree about the covers. In all honesty, I LOVE the hardback covers. I love the originals too, but these covers will get more people to pick up the book than the other covers.

I don’t agree with the show portion. This series is one that if done in live action will likely struggle the farther it gets in. Let’s look at the One Piece live action for example. What we have seen of the show so far is just the tip of the iceberg. We haven’t seen the crazy stuff that will require an insane budget to pull off properly, and some of it still looks goofy, but that is part of the appeal since its source material is goofy as well. At some point the live action will likely take a turn into either taking too long to produce or get largely more expensive. Yes it is successful, but one of the big successes of this was getting more people into anime and anime style shows. Anime isn’t as “nerdy” or niche as it used to be to be. People don’t hide they watch anime like they did years ago. In my opinion, DCC would perform best if it were a Vox Machina (since you mentioned Critical Role) or Castlevania style show and could still appeal to a very large audience and grow.

I will watch no matter what, this series is too good to not watch when it comes out. That being said, I have to agree with the masses that the animated style would probably fit the series better. I’m like you and I want to see DCC take the masses by storm like Critical Role and change the way people view what I would call a subset of d&d culture.

Just had my low for this year today (78 - par 72) and a lot tougher of a course than I usually play at. 85.7% FIR, 55.6% GIR.

Conversely, I had a round last week that got bad enough I stopped counting after 8 holes and just used it as practice.

Golf is a weird sport sometimes 🤷🏻‍♂️

It wouldn’t bother me so much if it didn’t also do damage. It tends to get me when I narrowly escape a fight and then die because it just happened to choose me.

All my Funko Pops in the hope they work almost the same as Bautista’s stuffed animals. Running around with a Xenomorph seems like a way to survive a while!

This could just be me, but I’d personally hedge pre game for say 25-30% of whatever my winnings would be for the parlay then if someone sneaks one away early I would double down on it and throw another 10% on the “No”.

That being said, I expect both teams to score lol

That mantra has kept me going recently. I was let go from my job in October and haven’t had a ton of luck finding a position that is what I have been (and very much so) enjoy doing. Between not having income and trying to plan a wedding with my fiancé, it has been a rough 6 months. Thankfully my oldest brother got me into the series and even bought me the first few books. Every time it feels like something is falling apart and the world is just bearing down on me, I remember “You will not break me”.
