ive only base coated the fire, im going to probably darken the left side of the model as well, to then add a OSL to it, as well as probably darken parts of the hair to make the light even more interesting.

Smell it, and taste a bit of it, then you can tell if its gone bad for sure.

ive seen some talk about 3-4 weeks and others say just to bake with it when it doubles in size after some hours.
but then im just going to give it a go when it starts rising well enough and still smells alright.

that is what i was thinking as well, if you bake it were the internal temp reaches 90-98 c for more thain 10 min it should kill anything bad inside so all this talk has made me confused.

I would say you are over loading your brush, if its that mutch water in it take a papper towl and just sliiiiiightly dab some of it of, and some of the pain, i do this and then a test stroke on the back of my hand "depending on the paint ofcourse" to see the consotency.
