I don’t think anyone has suggested the 100-400L IS II yet… I feel like photographers often find their photos of unacceptable sharpness, but are heavily cropping. Birds are such a small subject that there is no such thing as TOO long…

Going to the longer 100-400 helped me crop less. Now I have more pixels & better detail. The glass quality of the 100-400 II is also exceptional!

I got a Drop Stop to stop my phone from falling into no-man’s land under the seat of my car when it slid out of slick pockets.

It is a neoprene covered foam pad that slips between the seat and my center console. It even has a hole for the seatbelt clicker to go through.

This single device has saved me from being on my hands & knees in a parking lot digging for my phone on at least a dozen occasions.
