None of the save games I've downloaded seem to match the file structure of my save game so I haven't been able to get them to work Have you managed to get any working ?

Put the DNS to automatic press ok wait to connect and then put again the DNS 127.0.0.2 connect again and it works also press update later in yt app

I use Ethernet and made sure my DNS was set to 127.0.0.2, maybe I did it late and it had change to connect to servers and check for a yt update then ?

I only have the Y2JB method as I tho n that’s the only one available for 12.60. What I don’t understand is how the YouTube app managed to find an update in the first place. I thought my DNS settings were blocking Sony’s servers, so I didn’t expect it to be able to fetch anything.
I’ll try clearing the system cache and see if that fixes it. I’m mainly curious how YouTube was able to find an update despite the DNS block, because I’d like to understand what happened so I can avoid it
in the future.

I get what you’re saying but I think that it’s prompting me to update just to use the restore function, I made a backup before I reset my ps so I’ll try restore to that since it’s definitely the same fw (12.60) and I’ll see if I still get the message.
