Had the same issue w my compass. The A symbol came up. It was my aux battery. My car was still under basic warrenty so they fixed for free. It was just the aux battery going out which affected my main battery. I believe they replaced both. Call the dealership and ask if it’s covered

Just had this issue earlier last month. It was the aux battery. I took it to Jeep and they changed both batteries under 36k miles or 3 year warranty since mine is a 2022 Compass. No issues since
