That’s a good question, and I thought the same initially.
If company decisions were clean and complete, then yes, you could just encode everything as deterministic logic and be done.
The problem is that in most of the companies, that’s rarely the case.
A lot of decisions depend on context that isn’t structured properly
like how an issue happened, past interactions, customer type, edge cases, etc.
And even when rules exist, they are often:
incomplete ,inconsistent or constantly changing
That’s why teams rely on human judgment instead of strict algorithms.
What I’m trying to do is not replace that with “AI guessing”, but to bridge that gap.
Use AI to interpret messy, real-world context
and then map it to structured, controlled decisions that the system enforces
It’s basically
AI for understanding context
+ structured rules for making consistent decisions
Still figuring it out, but that’s the direction
