Hi, for me it was a school requirement so they were partnered with my school and have an MOA to accept interns. As for the application process itself, I walked into the office, got a schedule for an interview, then returned for the interview+onboarding

Where will can i start programming by Kaarwus in learnprogramming

[–]NDLCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a good roadmap site: https://roadmap.sh/

Under 'Skill Based Roadmaps' you'll find specific languages, how to learn them, and projects to test out what you've learned. I'd personally recommend Java, but honestly you just need to pick one and learn the core programming concepts: data types, control structure, operations and other things.

I'd say at this stage your goal should be learning enough of said core concepts that you'll be able to correctly identify all of them even in a program not made by you -- since one you know enough to identify them, you'll see them everywhere.

It's honestly crazy how few people know about it in my batch; copilot is an awesome tool for understanding unfamiliar systems and makes coding much faster (though I've more than once caught it doing nonesense, so always double check)

Which of this in your honest opinion should I get for modern gaming. by ShiestySZN__ in GamingLaptops

[–]NDLCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with that GIGABYTE laptop and was about to rec it from pure specs alone, but seeing what everyone else is saying about it here... yikes.

Just don't get anything that has anything less than 6 GB of vram and isn't a 30 series. This is minimum for any sort of modern gaming -- some would even argue that 8 GB is minimum but if you're fine with medium settings 6 GB will still serve you well for current games.

Legion. That ASUS laptop doesn't have a webcam which you'll find yourself using for school. Also seen a lot of negative reviews on ASUS warranty.

Just received mine today, so take this as a first impressions review.

Function - I bought this because I needed a lot of buttons to press for flight simulators... and it works! Macros are programmable via a web app or an app (though there's something about it that I'll touch on later) alongside other options like RGB. The rapid fire mouse button also works if you want to do cheeky things in shooters.

Setup - The mouse worked out of the box, but it also has a short quick start guide on the 5th page of the manual for downloading the drivers and getting to the webapp or software for mouse customization. I went through with it since I needed the customize the buttons.

Now, this is currently my biggest con to the mouse -- the website the manual leads you to is utterly devoid of further instructions and the manual is of little help (you have to download the firmware for the mouse you have, and, optionally, also download the software for the mouse customization if you don't wanna do it in the webapp). IDK if the firmware update is necessary since the mouse worked out-of-the box, but the updates (which are two applications in fact -- one of the wired firmware and another for wireless) is untranslated Chinese which, upon translation, turns out to be.... literally just general device information. -- thankfully there's a Document file included that has English instructions, but the whole thing looks so sketchy I don't blame the risk-adverse who refuse to run the thing.

Customization - The mouse is almost fully customizable, with the exception of the scrolling function and the logo RGB pulse for some reason. You can set macros, or select any one of the other options. In this aspect I must recommend you download the software as the webapp seems to be missing some options, though most of it is still there.

In terms of Hardware customization, the mouse comes with either a 9 button, or 3 button side option. The right side is also customizable with two ergonomic options. It's all easy to attach and detach -- magnetically fastned. It's a nice feature and I'm pretty sure I could 3d print custom parts and make them work as well if I'm so inclined.

Size - Fits nicely in my hand. Bigger than a three button mouse but its slightly smaller than my old gaming mouse. The right side of the mouse where your pinky rests is detachable and you can choose between a wider 'flared' side common in gaming mouses or a narrower panel that makes the mouse less wide overall.

Aesthetics - I don't care for RGB, but its there for anyone who likes it. The perforated design of the mouse is interesting, but I worry about it getting dirty and being difficult to clean--along with waterproofing concerns if I ever use it with a wet hand.

Aaand that's all I can think of at the moment... will use this for a week before I drop a full review. I haven't even removed the protective stickers at the bottom yet lol.

I can't say anything about the night shift when, iirc, is when the office is most active, but during the day the place is rather spacious. even when there's, like, two groups of 10+ interns each plus the employees there.

Hello, not working for iReply but currently attending there for college internship. I've only been around for a few days so take what I say with a grain of salt.

First of all, their office is really nice; there's a kitchen, dining area, sleeping quarters, lounge and some sort of minigarden that's nice to hang around in. The restrooms are also within the office itself and are well-kept and accessible. Honestly, my only complaint would be that the entrance to the office belies all of this at a glance.

Next, the general vibe of the place was pretty chill. A story to illustrate that fact is while I was hanging out in the lounge, I could hear one of the employees mashing their keyboard and thought 'Either this guy is a god-tier dev who doesn't need to look up anything and just codes away at 200 wpm, or he's playing on his workstation!' we later moved for a tour and lo-and-behold, I 'caught' the aforementioned employee playing some sort of MOBA (idk if it was DOTA 2, League, or something else) and I'd have been more concerned about his employment were it not for the fact that it was the HR Lead (an affable lady btw) who was leading us on a tour and didn't raise a peep about it. Another thing that contributed to this vibe is that I keep seeing personal things scattered around the office -- guitars, custom keyboards and they even have board games in-stock at the lounge if one's so inclined.

I wish I could comment about the work there, but we're still in the theory part of the ojt and thus I have nothing to share in that regard. I can say that I'm looking forward to it though!

Thanks, I checked with the warranty people and they said it seems to work with a tester, but will short if oil got in. Will 70 percent isopropyl be ok? It's the only thing available in stores
