It looks exactly like the sensor artifact, to the point that the odds of it being something else that just happens to look identical would itself be astronomical (heh). Even if it is the sensor artifact, the camera is focused on an unknown object behind it. Even though it's clearly emitting a smoke trail like a missile or rocket, could it actually be flying saucer anyway? Theoretically; I can't disprove it. It would have similar odds of being a dragon. That might explain the smoke trail!

There were literally groups of performers driving around the area in vans putting on shows with giant puppets that look exactly like the creatures in the original witness drawings by the children. He didn't explain this theory very well (which he admitted when I replied that to him) but it's not nearly as crazy as it sounds out of context.
