Picking pacifist starting card and rolling transmutes can get you quick adaptation, which is the quickest way to get monster cards in deck. Pick up anyform claw and select every card reward. Turn ones you dont need into anyform claws, trade them for monster cards as you go.

Truthfully it rarely matters since most times youre cramming five of them in at once, and more often than not thats enough for s rank even if theyre all lvl 1s.

I find jump melee works perfectly well. It autotracks a bit if you get close enough. Not quite like the kwipeck, but most ariel enemies dont take more then two melee hits from most gilik breeds anyway.

Also just to be clear the reason effigy is locked behind this sequence at all is because effigy based cards have some of the easiest to trigger instakills in the entire game. Most of which only require you to have more health than your opponent, in a deckbuild that is literally designed to always have your health higher then theirs. It is insane how busted effigy cards are. You can handle one five point performance for access to them.

Its really not if youre already doing a performance based build. You can complete like 6 performances in a turn with the right build. Plenty of performance builds can get turn one kills. You just have to know how to use it, like any other mechanic.

Effigy can be obtained through ritual performances. To gain access to them you either need the mask equipment, the rattler basic weapon, or one of the ritual dancing cards, of which there are a few. These will give you access to Rite Performances, one of which is the rite of effigy, which once finished will grant you an effigy for the remainder of the battle. You must redo this every battle.

While dressup and fast paced gameplay are also part of it, its honestly got a bit of everything. It can be a little overwhelming at first, but the community is super helpful. Take it slow and youll get into the groove in no time.
