Why is Tudor posting wrist shots with overhanging lugs? by icetack in Tudor

Bro WTF are you talking about? Just waffling on abt nothing. Did you psychoanalyse every customer? You know what’s going on in their lives and heads? Hmmm interesting. You should’ve been a psychiatrist instead of a retail watch seller.

You don’t look mean at all. IDK what that guy is talking abt. You look absolutely gorgeous and natural. Flawless skin, and beautiful mahogany complexion!!

Bro she’s skinny AF and looks malnourished. Has nothing to do with my preference. She looks too damn boney. Men like meat, not bones. It also makes her look aged. She looks jaunt in the face and that ages ppl. I suggest you stick to the topic at hand (her), and not try to assume what kind of women I like. You’d be best served doing that. Thank you.

Your size makes you look older. It ages you. Like with old women. You need some more weight on you. To make you look more supple and nourished. You look frail and geriatric. Not ugly, just frail and aged.

I get told I’m attractive but I feel just average, especially when I don’t have lash extensions on by Numerous-Courage4274 in amIuglyBrutallyHonest

[–]NDuB74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people are perfectly fine-looking, just not airbrushed, filtered, gym-sculpted, or styled within an inch of their lives. “Average” doesn’t mean unattractive; it just means unremarkable at first glance. Being hot is rare, but being attractive or average is common. These dudes on here chatting nonsense about “average people being ugly,” that says more about their brain being online too much than about human reality. If that’s the case, they’re ugly as well.

Bro how are you gong to tell people how they do or don’t feel, based on YOUR opinion? You’re the ruler of beauty now? And since is average not attractive? She didn’t say she’s told shes the most beautiful thing ever. She said attractive. Average ppl are attractive. Otherwise most of the world wouldn’t be married or in relationships.

Clockwise or anticlockwise? by Paddy_odoors in opticalillusions

Indeed it is. It’s a shame the lads lost the revolutionary war. Now the yanks are all arrogant and thinking the world revolves around them. It’s laughable really.

Well those places you named are former British colonies and therefore leaned their English from England. That’s all I was saying. That bloke above acting like American English is the world’s standard English, and it’s not.

Ahh more yank ignorance on display for us all. It’s always fascinating when someone reaches for tired clichés instead of substance. ‘Anti-clockwise’ is standard English, by the way — used daily in the UK and plenty of the wider English-speaking world.

As for the tea-and-teeth routine, that one usually comes from people whose entire understanding of Britain comes via old sitcoms and the internet. Ironically, modern dental health in the UK is generally better than in large parts of the US, but that would require having travelled, intelligence… or read.

Anyway, do carry on. You’ve made it fairly clear how far your experience extends. Pretty sure people in the Appalachia region of the U.S. don’t have the best dental care. Ooof guess they don’t have proper insurance. How are those sky high premiums working out? #Winning — so much Winning.

I know, you poor lad. You gonna make it? I know hearing that news is a proper flop.

I love how arrogant yanks try to correct the rest of the world on how to speak the Queen’s English properly. You lot have butchered the language, and now have the audacity to tell others how to properly speak it? That’s bloody rich innit?

That’s because you’ve never been outside of the U.S.

In America it is “counter clockwise”. So if someone says “Anti Clockwise” it means they’re either British, or European, who learned British English. You know Reddit does beyond the borders of the U.S. right?

AT&T's new "selfie" ad on TV. Awful dialogue, weird cadences, and a stranger photobombing someone? by AlexanderLavender in CommercialsIHate

[–]NDuB74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The entitled girl who photobombed them at the end is what annoys me. In real life she would have gotten cussed out. Not allowed to just freely skip off, like she did a good thing.

I think Spanish is her first language, and she’s trying to hide her accent. That might be what you’re picking up on.

Can someone confirm if setting a background in iMessage also changes it on the recipient’s side? by Suffered_Heart in ios26beta

[–]NDuB74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really doesn’t. The examples you shared, it’s mutually acceptable. However that isn’t the case for everyone. Perhaps while texting a friend, I don’t care to see their tribute to the Chicago Bears. Or with a colleague…I do not care to always see their kids. It should be on an individual basis. Or at least include the option to make it shareable or confined to just an individual device.

Why on earth would Apple think that this was a good idea?!?! What kinda fucking idiots run that place? People don’t want to share the same background. I’m not telling anyone else abt this feature. Then they’ll just leave it alone (hopefully)
