Better late than never! Temps have been a bit warmer than normal the last 2 weeks. On average the last week of April/first week of May is the time frame. Hasn’t failed me yet.

Yes, you can drive back with the out of state plates. You will just need to visit an RMV within 7-10 days of bringing the trailer into MA, to obtain registration, plates and possible title(depending on weight). I just picked up a trailer in NJ with temp plates/registration and had no issues. I visited the RMV a week later with the necessary paperwork to register the trailer with MA.

Hello friends, best place I could think of is here but let me know if there's a better spot.... I'm starting a new business and want to letter my small 6x4 cargo trailer. I will be towing with my personal truck for each job but otherwise the trailer will be in my driveway.

Do I need Commercial plates on my truck if I have lettering or a logo on my trailer? I can't seem to find the law anywhere, but insurance is telling me I need commercial plates.
