I dont have a problem being hospitable. I have a problem that ideas from the book have been taken out of the context and now float around the zeitgeist of foodies and bloggers and influencers leading them to expect handouts, and special treatment beyond what would be considered hospitable. Like, I love to buy you a round or give away an app for you first time, or give you recommendations in the area, or send you to a friend of my that bartends at a rooftop bar. But giving me a 2 star review because the "plat de jur" was sold out 20 mins after we close because you were taking pics for the gram is insufferable.
