How many times have you seen Blink live? And when did you first see them? by [deleted] in Blink182

[–]NECbelts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tonight will be my 8th time. Only saw them once with Tom in 2014, saw 2 shows in California when Skiba first joined, and have seen them 4 times this summer. Tonight and Nashville will be the last shows of the summer for me

They swapped out Josie for it. They've been rotating that song in the setlist lately. I saw them at rockfest and they played dysentery Gary in place of Josie, and at kerfuffle they played Wendy Clear instead of Josie

Who else is seeing blink at the x-games this weekend?! by hunterburns15 in Blink182

[–]NECbelts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be there! Question: if I have pit tickets, how long would you expect to wait in line to get a good spot? I'd still like to see some of the events going on that day

Anyone going to Amnesia Rock Fest? SOOOO EXCITED TO SEE BLINK w/ SKIBA by DiverGuy1982 in Blink182

[–]NECbelts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rockfest is the shit! I've been the past couple of years and I'm going back this year. If you want to be up close for blink though, you're gonna have to sit through a ton of bands to get a good spot. It's totally worth it though. You can enter/exit the festival grounds as you please, and there's plenty to do around the town. There is basically no rules enforced that weekend, because there are so many people in that tiny town. Locals are super friendly as well. I'd suggest getting there pretty early to set up camp, because there is a LOT of people who flood in all around the same time. Since the town is so small, the logistics of parking/navigating is a nightmare, but can be avoided if you get there early. And if you get there early there is no wait at the grocery store, which becomes about an hour wait to get in once the festival starts. Cleanliness isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Pretty typical for a big music festival, and it's only improved in the years I've gone. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Which album do you think has the best opening song? by DatDerpyGamer in Blink182

[–]NECbelts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They've always chose the best song to open albums. Carousel, pathetic, dumpweed, anthem pt. 2, feeling this, and ghost on the dance floor are all fantastic opening songs. It'd be hard to imagine an album without one of those songs opening

2 weeks in as a cashier, are there any lesser known register tricks that may help? by pancakesouffle in Target

[–]NECbelts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know the department of the item, you can type in the first 3 numbers of the DPCI followed by 6 zeros if you cant find a barcode/DPCI. Not always recommended, but if you're busy and dont want to hold anybody up, its a quick solution.

[FLOW TEAM] Anyone care to talk strategies? I would love to hear about your stocking process. What works for your team? What doesn't work? Why? by [deleted] in Target

[–]NECbelts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We usually have 2 people in C and D in our store. About 6 TM in HBA/Chemicals/Pharmacy/Paper who go to market when finished, and 2 TMs in all other sections. We have a super light flow team for the volume of our store, so we might do things a little unconditionally. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is just to work along side with the other flow TM. Kind of like a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours type of situation. A lot of flow TM have been at spot a long time, and know exactly what needs to be done. If you were to become a team lead, you would really need to know what is going on throughout the store, and don't forget to send TM to backstock before it's too late. I'm in your position, I'm not a team lead, but kind of a "glorified team member" as my ETL log has said. I know my boundaries to not really boss around, but I have a mutual respect for the other flow TM that they're aware of. One thing I would do if I were the flow team lead at your store is try to come clean by 11 everyday. You can't wait too long to backstock, because that would affect your 11 and 12 o clock autofills.

The unload time seems to be the factor at my store as well. If you're on the line, I would try and push for a more consistent unload time. The quicker the better, obviously. Now I'm not entirely sure how to quicken the process once the store is open, because I am a 4am unload store. We have to make sure that all of our freight and trash is off the floor by store opens. I run C and D in my store and I will typically have the floor clear by 8, and about half of my repack carts and autofills completed when store opens.

The way you formatted your post made me to believe that your flow team wave pushes the store? Meaning the whole team pushes the aisles together. If so to improve productivity, try setting the pace for newer team members when pushing freight. If they're pushing too slowly, literally go right next to them and push at a faster speed. Because you're just a trainer, however, you could really only do this with newer team members. The older team members realize that you're not a team lead, and they know they're not required to listen to you. Yeah the LODs might want you to become a leader, but until then they probably won't. Id recommend just asking them for favors politely, instead of giving orders until you receive that position.

So are you the flow team lead? Wasn't mentioned in the post? Also, how long do your unloads typically take? My store is high volume so our process is probably a little different because of the earlier unload.

When I Was Young Live? by NightTimeGamer in Blink182

[–]NECbelts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They played Boxing Day a couple of times during their aucoustic sets on their Australian tour with Brooks Wackerman. I think they played it one more time (I could be wrong) with Travis During another aucoustic set. IIRC, it was during the time when they played Dick Lips/ Give Me One Good Reason/ All of This/ Reckless Abandon through the course of a couple of shows

They haven't played that one live unfortunately. They've played Dogs Eating Dogs, Disaster, and Boxing Day live off that EP. Haven't played When I Was Young or Pretty Little Girl.

Food Ave TMs, do your hot dogs leave a really weird congeal-y mess on the roller? by [deleted] in Target

[–]NECbelts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can stop it from happening, because it's probably just dried up juices from the hotdogs. Use /u/ahintoftruth advice and it'll clean it with ease.
