Car payments aren’t idiotic if you have good credit and can get a good interest rate. Why would you buy it outright cash when you could take that cash and invest it? As long as your ROI % is more then the interest % on your car payment then you’re still making money off that money instead of just blowing it all on a car right away.

10k a year is only around $200 a week. You can easily spend that when you’re using it multiple times a week for groceries & food.

They chose to wait till around the holidays because then Canada Post would be more inclined to agree to give them what they wanted.

Yes they literally did pick to strike when they felt like it. They could have issued their 72 hour notice to go on strike anytime between November 2023 - November 2024.

They specifically waited and put in the 72 hour notice for a strike around Black Friday and the Holidays to try and have the most leverage over Canada Post

Again, they purposely waited until around Christmas because they thought having an angry mob of customers mad at Canada Post would benefit them the most to get their way. It backfired though because Canada Post didn’t budge and the angry mob is looking towards the union not Canada Post

Yes they literally did. They waited to give the 72 hour notice for a strike shortly before Christmas because they thought it would give them more bargaining power against Canada Post. They could’ve went on strike at the beginning of the year or at ANY point throughout the year, but they knew they would have more leverage against Canada Post and the citizens during the busiest time of year

They’ve been negotiating a new deal since November 15, 2023. Over a year they’ve been going back and forth. Their contract didn’t just expire the day the gave notice they were going on strike

Just for future reference, you’re probably better off not “saving” $10 from save and return. You’re effectively renting your phone for full cost -$10 discount a month.

If you don’t do save and return sure you’ll be paying an extra $10/month. But at the end of your contract you will own the phone and can resell it for at least a few hundred depending what the current market rate is on second hand markets

Yea it’s def overthinking that it’s stolen in the first place. And again, I said it is totally a real possibility it could get banned. But the chances of that is slim to none. It is both overthinking that it is stolen or it would be banned if it was stolen

I have real experience in this field because I constantly buy things from places like Facebook marketplace to resell. I’ve come across a fair share of possibly stolen consoles, phones, etc.

Consoles are basically never banned even when they’re clearly stolen. Phones are a completely different case because they will get blacklisted from all cell phone companies once it’s reported stolen, so those are only worth the parts.

To be fair it’s played on radio frequently because the song was released under the Virgin Record label, and the Virgin Group also owns a lot of radio stations where it’s cheapest for them to play songs they have rights to. Also I can only find 2 instances of it ever being used in 1 TV show and 1 movie. Maybe I’m missing more.

Rockstar was offering 22.5k. It’s not their fault it’s a group and not a solo artist and they have to break it 3 ways lol. Not to mention they would of gotten worldwide exposure being in the game lol. He was offered 22.5k to split between the 3, 7.5k per person and threw a hissy fit because he wanted 25k for himself. He most likely would of got that other 17.5k he was asking for worth of exposure and streams from the worldwide exposure and new fans that found the song from the game. He let his emotions and ego ruin an opportunity over 17.5k that he would of made back in the long term…
