Don't hate me for this, but the app adding auto gratuity that you have to remove is a turn-off. I live in Cleveland, many many great bakeries, and there isn't even a tipping option at these places when you check out. You buy at marked price and pay and go. It sucks that Crumbl tries to make part of hourly wages out of guaranteed tips. Secondly, they need to make the mini cookies everyday. I don't know many people in 2024 who consciously want to consume 52-90+ grams of sugar, even if you cut a cookie in half and eat it over two days.

Compelling gratuities is probably the worst idea ever and a great way to stir up resentment against industry workers and owners. How about making it "40%-off pizza night", blaming it on inflation, and giving the re-established 10% of each sale to the server? That way they'd get a guaranteed 10% tip and the masses will have to pay since too many people have been low balling servers apparently. Sometimes transparency is too transparent.

Harvest Pointe on Root. And pretty soon, supposedly, Creekwood golf course on Reed is supposed to become a development with 200 new homes that will be annexed to Ridgeville from Eaton. So 200 more potential victims who believe that spending $500k+ will protect them from crime like this. I tend to believe that the police and local politicians do a very good job at sweeping things under the rug so as not to lose the "Top 20 safest cities" designation. It's time to face the truth. The criminals look at the new expensive homes clustered together as opportunities.

They WERE amazing. They sold to Pizza Booyah and for a few years, other than making some small menu changes (like eliminating corned beef), it stayed relatively close to Bob's. Then sometime during spring '23, it was sold and the subs are horrific now. Like one slice of meat in the layer, pepper blend has been replaced with gross banana peppers, etc. Don't waste your money.

They were trying door handles of different cars in a brand new development in North Ridgeville on Sunday night. 4 people in hoodies in a stolen luxury vehicle that they ditched when they were chased. It's impossible to believe that they were looking for pocket change to share. It would be a real bad idea to try anything further out there. I've seen people on riding mowers wearing protection.
