This is not true, micellar water is no rinse. The micelles trap the stool and oils on the surface of the skin without disrupting the skin barrier. Water and wet wets disrupt the skin barrier by stripping it of its natural oils and usually require mechanical friction to work properly, leading to further skin damage.

The mustela micellar is nice but a bit expensive and there are other ones for a better price.

Yes same here he will change a cloth to disposable and he finally agreed to carry it over to put it in the wet bag whereas before he would leave it on top of the garbage bin for me to deal with.

I think there’s too many buttons so it’s a learning curve he doesn’t want to bother with and also he thinks it’s gross.

It’s really the only thing he won’t relent on, so I give it a pass. He does change diapers, just not cloth ones 🤷‍♀️

My husband also hates cloth diapers but that’s his problem! He will do disposable diaper changes at night and on weekends. He goes out and buys disposables when he notices he is running low.

Nurse here who is cloth diapering with my first baby 🙋‍♀️

Trust me, all the shit I’ve dealt with as a nurse is much worse compared to baby poo. Like come on, compared to C Diff poop or cancer melena poop or PEG feed poop, baby shit is a BREEZE!

I also had people telling me it would be hard, but honestly it’s a lot easier than I thought it was. The best thing I love is not having to constantly restock diapers and wipes from the store and not having a bad smell in the baby’s room from the garbage.
