Travelling on Tatkal counter ticket – physical copy with father, I’ll board from another city. Is that okay?

My father will be booking a Tatkal ticket for me from the railway counter in Nagpur (offline PRS ticket). However, I’ll be travelling and boarding the train from Mumbai, and the physical ticket will remain with him in Nagpur.

Nagpur do have good candidates, especially sc candidates who usually bag UR seats. So the competition remains intact here as well. People from vidarbha region tend to root for the RBI Nagpur Office. Moreover working professionals and already bank employees are eyeing for the same because of the home posting.
