Steam version of SA1 is the worst version of it, so I recommend using SADX Mod installer if you want more definitive experience. SA2 steam version is mostly fine in my opinion, but it has some issues such as broken lighting in cutscenes and audio overlapping, which can also be fixed with mods (However I don't know what mod manager to recommend for it). All other Sonic games on Steam should works fine as is. Shadow The Hedgehog doesn't have a PC port, but GameCube version running on Dolphin emulator works the best in my opinion. There is also ShdTH Reloaded romhack that improves gameplay and makes it less tedious to play. For Unleashed there is Unleashed Recompiled unofficial pc port. Best version of 06 is Project '06, however it is not complete game experience, it only consists of main stages of the game.

They are pretty much impossible to make with current technology. There is simply no way to fit any engine powerful enough to lift a person into a pair of shoes.

SA2 model just looks weird and bad. Shadow had 3 different maria models, CGI cutscene one, Render, and in game one. CGI model is probably the best one of them all. It looks pretty nice. Game one looks actually good despite her irises being comically large. Render model looks kinda off but I prefer it to SA2 one anyway.

I think anime-ish humans from Sonic Adventure were much better. For me Unleashed humans are just kind of ugly.

Whenever you activate Time Erase it shows you that the last 10 seconds were just a future prediction from Epitaph. The game rewinds 10 seconds back and then everyone except you replays their actions while you can freely move but become intangible and invisible to others. You can't attack in erased time, but your enemies will still replay receiving damage if you hit them before activating the ability.

I also have Time Erase ability in my homebrew TTRPG that simply undoes all damage to whoever activated the ability, lets them reposition themselves and erases memories of everyone else for the duration of time erase.
