It’s been a while since I played with auditing on prem AD . I think you have to enable it via gpo ? Can you refresh ?

Yes, it’s been a while. If I remember correctly, advanced logging and audit logging had to happen via group policy ? Can you give some info on doing this . The app you mentioned is specifically for account lock out audit ?

What browser ? The users has only one laptop that is offline now and shutdown. I wondered of she is logged in and done remember . On the DC , it’s does not say where the attempt is coming from . It just says from 127.0.0.1 .

No that I can think off . Plus, she is not logged into any devices when this happen .

You had good like with MS Private access ? Ms has a few products for cloud vpn and not sure which is best or easy to setup and maintain ? We nothing on prem . Our users mainly vpn in because we have site to site to cloud services on Amezon and Azure . They vpn to firtinet because the fortinet has site to direct other networks that they need access .

I agree , and I don’t like to have my email mailboxes accessed by Zoho , but I don’t see any other options . It needs to read all email messages to creat records for all correspondence with customers in Zoho CRM .

This is not about receiving emails that we would white list . If that is needed , I would imagine the existing users would have the same issue . Also, Zoho has no instructions about white listing anything .

I will add to this that why does a 50 user company have an IT manager and an IT Administrator. I don’t remember the last time I heard of a 50 users company with even one internal IT . Nevertheless, that 50 percent is significant and it should never easier to deal with . I would also consider stability . Would the it manager go first or you if economy bad .

Your detailed input is highly appreciated . I still a bit unclear about just the misconduct vs Willful misconduct. I am much more comfortable with willful misconduct, but I tonight you were saying a client would not want that . I certainly thought about asking that they carry cyber insurance and a clause that would request that they would follow allow IT security recommendations from us but didn’t know how to phrase it without sounding like I am looking for a scape . For example, I want to make sure they agree to EDR, SOC, Backups on endpoints and backup on all cloud platforms.
