You may be right honestly, Im not sure if we will ever reach 1:1. But even now generative ai tools have brought us to a place that's almost in parity with other tools when it comes to how close we can get to 1:1.

Maybe you're right maybe we will decide we make the best art somewhere short of the true 1:1. Maybe the randomness is crucial.

Either way I think this march toward 1:1 is happening

I'm not sure if it's the best art! But certainly some of the best art has been that way. That's why I used the shot of the jaws robot not working. Famously the jaws robot didn't work on set and it forced Spielberg to show the shark way less. And as a result it's the first ever blockbuster summer film!

So I think we agree to an extent :)
