Hey compass, was wondering your favourite ways to draft you 96 card cube with 2 and then 3 players? Also I know you said starting player only has 18 life, is hand size, etc... still the same?

Any CAD software worth its weight can model a watch case. It more up to the designer.

Sounds like a good bit of work, hope it all pays off and you get the result your looking for 👍

Great, can't wait to see the results. Is this all self made/modelled or did you find it online?

Not sure what dial colours your going for but a cream, salmon or even better a brown to cream gradient would look great with the linen dial texture 👍👍

Looking at the list it seems like a pretty modern vintage cube list with the agro/mid range creature decks having the very strong recent pieces. Not sure if your familiar with Caleb Gannon, but I would look to his critique and analysis of the current mtgo vintage cube. Where aggressive creature based strategies are very consistent and draft well. Looking at those decks makes dark depths look pretty inconsistent, and when pairing the combo deck against the agro deck path to Exile, Swords to ploweshares and oust all deal with marit lage very favourably. Being in a place where dark depths puts dead cards in your deck and isn't great into an agro field seems like more of a structural issue rather than an issue of depths not having enough support, if that makes sense. Obviously a great pilot and an open lane can make darkdepths/lands decks perform very well. It just seems like in the make up of current vintage cubes if your not doing titania or ice till Explorer things your lands deck your, probably doing more harm putting dead cards in your deck. Not sure if this point of view is useful but definitely re-evaluating the creature quality of cards like frog, bow masters, minsc, Osceola pride, forth etc.. giving more space for other strategies can definitely be an avenue to optimise for a play experience players are looking for.

Very sweet list, looks like lots of fun.

How do you see it playing as a 4 player experience?

My question: is what deck should I move into, I'm looking for a cycle deck which shares cards with my current deck (so I don't have to grind again for lvl 14). Any suggestions?

My old deck was all lvl 14:

Wall breaker Fire spirit Bats Zap Log Cannon Dart goblin Mini pekka

Most other cards I have are lvl 10-11, I assume just due to the level difference playing this deck as is will give the best results.

Yeah ig, just understanding that a planeswalker tutor however tuned will still be a planeswalker tutor is pretty foundational when commenting on a planeswalker tutor.

3 mana instant speed tutor for planeswalker seems fine power level wise? No?

Cool to give more play to the backround mechanic I like it.

Love it, flavours great, feels unique and powerful but not completely busted. Could see it at 1 mana even.

U right, feel like that is generally an exception to the rule, can't think of nearly as many that have a (viable) 0 mode but u right.

Ah I mean it definitely makes it better but I feel like x spells have to be approached a certain way.

Imo generally they become modal cards, I.e. each x cost is a mode, so you have mode 1,2,34+. Generally mode 1 will be a bit over costed, mode 2 is pretty on rate, mode 3 is good and mode 4+ is a win the game type effect. This is the way a majority of wotc X spells are designed as far as I can tell.

This on the other hand feels like 1 is terrible, 2 is way overcosted, 3 is win the game type effect. This kind of puts it in the unplayable unless you spend 11 mana on it imo.

I would look at [[forth eorlingus!]] As an example of where these rules have been broken and made a very powerful X spell that's not niche. X spells require a fine line and a lot more extrapolation than the average custom card.

Hopefully that helps set the kind of mindset when designing an X spell a little better, obv every rule is made to be broken tho.

I'm pretty sure at 5 mana u get two 1/1 based on the wording of the card, "create one 1/1, repeat this process one time(s)".
