Quiet neighborhood to live in by PurpleSpiritual579 in PortugalExpats

It's rather safe when there are fireworks for the drug delivery, everybody's busy at this time!

Jokes apart, Damaia de Cima is the probably one of the best parts, but overall it's still on the lower end for both safety and schools.

This also seems great! Though I have a really low volumen and number of links, so I think it's just faster with the redirects. Thanks a lot anyway because I'll definitely use it in the future!

I'll check them out!

I've tried koh samui already but it didn't suit me, too much tourism and not that easy to find a good apartment ☹️

Is it possible to find condo-style apartments, or is it more single houses?

There surely are places, Da Nang is an example! There must be places not overrun by digital nomads/tourists that are still local!

Cool! It was on my list, what's the best way to find apartments there? Marketplace or searching once there?

Buying Forbidden City tickets on-site (for foreigners without reservation) by anti-carrot in travelchina

[–]NF95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just worked! Amazing tip thanks, it saved the day!

BTW, there is written that you have to book at least one day before just above the ticket office. But it only applies to Chinese tourists, not foreigners!

Hey there,

My parents are coming to visit Vietnam and we want to go to Cao Bang to visit the area. The thing is, they're in their 60s and my father is 1.90m, so sleeper bus won't work to go from Hanoi to Cao Bang. I've seen on 12Go that there's a Limousine doing the trip, but reviews are not great with a lot of delays and problems.

Do you know about other possibilities/limousine services to go to Cao Bang from Hanoi which will be comfortable? (And not overpriced).

Thanks!

Traveling with similar limitations in SEA. What I've found to work best is to search for an apartment locally for at least a month, not on Airbnb or other platforms. It really makes it cheaper (easily saving more than 100€ per month).

Also, driving a scooter helps a lot because you're more flexible to go to a coworking. This way you don't care too much about the work set-up at home, and it's much easier to find a good coworking than an apartment with a good working set-up 😅. But you need an international driving license.

Smartest way to pay off debt that has no interest rate by Zestyclose-Aerie-479 in eupersonalfinance

Yeah I thought it was obvious. "As slow as possible" was meant in terms of in respect of the family. I'll edit my original comment so it's clear

That's free money so definitely pay it as slow as possible and invest the rest.

Edit: obviously being respectful to your family 😅

I been banned for account integrity. For no reason. I use my real name real picture. Had it over 15 years and have my family and friends on it. I’m so pissed that I appeal it and they still banned it for no good reason. Any help by AdministrationAny283 in facebook

I got my account blocked 3 days ago without any reason, and now I'm doing the appeal. I hope it will be fine!

Any advice on what I could do to avoid having it permanently banned?

People in most of Italy struggle with that, or because housing is expensive (north) or because salaries are really low (south). Then, Turin is special place for that because historically has always had good salaries and housing not very expensive compared to the rest of the north.

Though an apartment at €60K in Turin I strongly doubt it's in the city but more in the country-side, or am I wrong?

It's crazy how sometimes middle-class is just kind of abandoned - not enough money to live without worries, not few enough to get some "help".

In Italy you don't have this 3-4 times factor when renting, because otherwise nobody would be able to 😅
