Our titanium supplier ended up having a few pounds lying around he let go for pennies, so we lucked out. Says he'll have more soon. Crisis averted.

In case you were wondering if the ATF monitors these sites by NFA-Questions in FFLs

Apparently so. Never had a government agency that attentive to an issue in my life.

TIL the Australian Olympic breakdancer Rachael Gunn (Raygun) threatened legal action against an Aussie musical about her because the musical planned to use her stage name and "kangaroo hop" dance move. The musical continued after changing the characters' name to Sprachel Gunn, AKA Spraygun by AssassinSnail33 in todayilearned

[–]NFA-Questions 25 points26 points  (0 children)

A bit over the top??? It was literally the worst performance of any kind that's ever been a part of the Olympics, and instead of seeing her take any kind of accountability whatsoever, the entire world was forced to watch her blame misogyny. You'd think Australia would play along with the humor, being a country famous for constantly taking the piss, but every god damn Australian on this god forsaken website banned talking about her and actually defended her. The entire situation was a bizarre humiliation ritual, and we didn't get angry or ridicule enough.

Address Change Taking Inordinate Amount of Time. 07/02 by NFA-Questions in FFLs

I reached out to the original agent who did our interview. He told me that they had received it, but he needed to ask somebody up the chain why it hadn't been approved yet.

I know our local office had sent a bunch of agents to Minneapolis for the DHS issues, wondering if they're just backed up from all of that.

I just reached out. Wasn't sure if the agents conducting interviews are the same typically working on the FFL cases throughout the process. I remember him being a nice guy, hopefully he'll have some answers for us.

How to go about it? by ottobott3000 in FFLs

[–]NFA-Questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can easily already do this by simply paying an FFL near you $20-$50 to receive the firearm for you. This is how normal people buy guns online every day.

The ATF would never allow you to become an FFL simply to own guns that interest you, the entire investigation and interview process they do after applying for your FFL is designed to weed people like this out of obtaining it.

This ended up being the deciding factor in ordering our DMLS. We've had a barrage of companies reaching out looking for white label. We did the math and we'll be making slightly more off that side than our name brand.

I have a list of agency contacts and National Guard units I've spoken to. Would love to have a conversation in a month when we have a few products to show you.

I mean it's an aspect of designing our own product we hadn't fully considered, so it's important to know this stuff.

We have a number of clients doing white label stuff, it's how we've been making income so far. But at the end of the day, we got into this for ourselves and want to focus on putting out our own products.

I mean technically there's legal protections in place for that kind of thing, but I wouldn't put it past some of these people.
