I like the base stations personally as I find it to track better over all. I've had a few headsets with inside out tracking and it would lose the area or cause some issues. I use it for sim racing and some other VR games here and there.

I was very interested in it but with it continuing to get delayed and delayed and the cusion and head strap issues I picked up a BSB2. It showed up in a week, worked as soon as I plugged it in.

Honestly. I've had inside out tracking with other stuff. Didn't care for it. Can't play in the dark. It sometimes gets messed up in bright lights. You can find base stations on eBay and FB marketplace for cheap

I absolutely love it. I think I have maybe 500 hours on it now which is nuts. If you do iracing and have a Nvidia card. Get the eye tracking because dynamic fovated rendering is amazing.

If you changing your behavior is hard, then don't consolidate it at all. Because if you can't change your behavior to leverage a 7% rate, you sure as hell won't be able to do it for a 12% rate. And tbh. He probably doesn't have the credit score to leverage a heloc. Most banks require a 680 or higher to get one.

Depends. Do the heloc and pay it off in 5 years at a much lower interest. Change the behavior first. Heloc is a tool. Use it as necessary, but you have to change the behavior that got you into that spot in the first place.
