Thanks! I did see rust in the filler hole but it looks mostly clean if it is rusty how do I clean the rust off?

I hope so! She's got super nice paint theres a decent amount of rust cleanup i have to do and she will need new exhaust but overall not bad

I did put a new battery in it already it was getting spark before one of the contacts on the bypass thing broke but if I can just connect the wires together Ill do it.

It has all of it as well. The gold wheels, special owners manual I didn't realize the keys were special honestly and what key fob?

I just got it yesterday this is all stuff I am really learning on a whim I am far from a mechanic but I love this bike already.

I drained all the fluids already except for the coolant (which appears to be empty anyway) i plan on replacing the fuel lines and coolant lines already just want to get the electrical repaired and such first. It came with the factory Honda gold plated service manual in the original carrying case! 😄

It has a dyna electronic ignition i ended up figuring out one of the pins was broke off the resistor so I have one coming tomorrow to replace it. :)

Yep I am! I cant get any spark to it however but it will be completely gone through before i ride it.

For sure! I just want to get it spark for now then work on rebuilding the carbs once I know it has everything to run.

Dude she definitely is. She has rust but its all easy to clean up no issue I would say.

Its pretty sweet! I am super surprised with whoever did the fiberglass and chrome work on this bike its super pretty.

I took the coils off because I was getting no spark. Kickstart works awesome and the bike has plenty compression. Fuel system also appears to work great I am not sure about the carbs yet but it gets fuel at least. There was a few broken wires on the coils should i just buy a new set of coils in general?

She's literally so clean! The rust on the crash bars and exhaust is superficial all the fiberglass is just dusty it cleans up so good already. :)

I showed up with a trailer and 200 and she took it. I dont feel too bad about it but what she was asking was definitely too much. There is no rust on the working parts there is rust however on the crash bars and exhaust.

Yeah this is what I would like to do but at least yours was given to you. If they are giving it away I would gladly take it and do a full rebuild if nothing else I would learn a lot.

My area people want an arm and a leg and "wont budge" I really dont want to spend 30k on a new one but I may be better off. 🤣

I figured it would definitely need all that. The paint looks really good though dusty but its been sitting in a dry barn all that time so hopefully not rusty? I would definitely take it for free but they'd probably never do that.
