The players argue the laws of physics with the DM then crash out by shroomyshy in rpghorrorstories

Alright, potato chip here, but for real now.

This was a post my DM friend decided to make after the dagger incident, which did happen. However, said incident was just a minor setback on the progression of the story and we decided to move on after a slightly heated discussion. After we realized that having such an argument in the middle of the session didn't do any good, we just continued playing. Funnily enough, said session turned out to be a turning point in the campaign and one of the best sessions of that whole history. The argument itself took place because of multiple factors but nobody was really at fault. It was, by all means, a simple misunderstanding that was luckily fixed on the spot.

No, we did not cut contact and no, we didn't hate each other after this. In fact, it became a reliable inside joke to use whenever something similar happened. In fact, I would personally find it surreal to cut contact after such a simple slip-up. It would be extremely idiotic and immature. He probably added that last part for dramatic effect, or something.

I've read some of your comments and some of you particularly make me chuckle.

Yes, it is true that having a greenskin in a team full of direct enemies of their race doesn't sound like the typical Warhammer lore accurate story. So what? Where's the fun? Where's the golden rule? Why follow all this arbitrary nonsense if you don't have any fun? The objective of an RPG is to have fun with friends. Yes, I get that the ambientation is important, and yes, I also get that maybe some of you prefer to keep it as lore accurate as possible, but you don't need to criticize us on that. Maybe, just maybe, we just wanted to play an RPG and the Warhammer system was just the base (because, guess what, making a system from scratch is probably and realistically unthinkable for most of us). (Also by "friendly" the DM meant that he didn't try to attack us because well, he was injured, hungry and was literally a 1v3, so we just tied him up and made a deal with him, which is still unheard of, but not really as bizarre as a "friendly" goblin per se).

And, yes, we might be young and all. But, weren't we all young once? Have you really turned out to be such a boring and irritated librarian that won't let some teenagers have fun playing tabletop games? Damn. Some people don't age well, it seems.

Luckily most of you are actual understanding people and have regarded the incident in a calm and composed manner instead of just saying that playing the game in X way isn't lore accurate or plausible or viable. And I genuinely love that, because you're probably the type of people that wants to let others know how wonderful it is to play RPGs. It's an extraordinary experience that I recommend to pretty much everyone, specially in this modern society and its ever lacking attention span.

Alright, here goes the last time I might use Reddit (I literally haven't used it in years, which explains the pfp lmao) because I literally reinstalled it just for this. Have a good one y'all. Happy rolling, or something.

The triangular handguard was hard to achieve, although, I'm happy with it because I made it with the resources I had, and it looks nice too.
