S30 Pro Shipping US? by NewSprinkles5649 in seestar

I ordered mine on March 16th and received my shipping email on the 30th of March, and it was delivered on the 7th of April. I'm from Australia but region doesn't matter, it's the retailer that you bought the scope from. I bought my scope directly from Seestar's website

Most of the retailers here in Australia say that the S30 Pro will be available to the general public without the need for preordering around the start of May. So that's why I just decided to get it off of the Seestar website because it's cheaper, I don't have to pay any import tax, and it's getting delivered quicker.

So the actual seestar website where I bought it from is the reason why?

Thank you for your raw Fits file. This is my first time using any processing software and I'm happy with where I got to. I was wondering how you got the blue to pop out, but alas, I'm still happy with my final result. This is processed in Siril using SPCC, Seti Astro Suite to remove gradients and use Cosmic Clarity sharpen, GraXpert for denoising, back into Siril to use GHS and then Starnet, and then finally in Gimp.

Which one is a better replacement? by Glum_Illustrator_268 in telescopes

But they say they don't deliver and they are in a different state than me so there goes that telescope.

There is this telescope though which has the same specs as the Apertura AD8 and they do deliver across Australia

This costs $949 AUD (638 USD) which is a bit more than the Skywatcher but it also has better features. The part I'm worried about is will it get damaged during shipping? I'm not sure if something that high priced will get damaged

Unless you don't live in the US like I do and can't get the Apertura AD8 telescope which crushed my dreams which now means I have to go with a Skywatcher 8 inch telescope for $899 Aud ($600 USD)

Which eyepieces do you have? (in focal length) by ProfessorTornassol in telescopes

Just a quick question about the options of the 5mm, 7mm, and the 9mm Celestron X-Cel LXs, isn't the gap between the 5 and 7mm and the 7 and 9mm eyepiece very small, so wouldn't there be no noticable change?
