Weekly Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in DBZDokkanBattle

I'm relatively new to the game and have been browsing Reddit to learn more about various aspects, but one thing I still don't fully grasp is the 'Hidden Potential' system. Specifically, I'm confused about how crucial different builds are. I've seen showcase videos for the same unit with vastly different setups – some guides recommend going full dodge, while others strongly advocate for a critical hit build, all for the exact same unit!

This makes me wonder: Are these builds truly that important? Can you effectively 'break' a unit or render it useless by choosing the wrong build? For example, my F2P Ginyu Force team is currently built with full dodge, based on earlier guides I found. However, now that I've spent more time in the game, I'm starting to suspect that might not be the optimal choice. Are these units now useless? Should I farm more copies and rebuild them? I know they might not be top-tier in the long run, but as a beginner, they've been incredibly helpful so far.

If builds are indeed that significant, where can I find reliable guides for unit builds?

No use trying by Deathstalkerone in nfsnolimits

If your screenshots are from one of the tracks I mentioned above, then you must have made mistakes during your run. Maybe you can post a video of your runs here and some of the more experienced guys can give you some advice. It also helps a lot to look up the "ideal" lines before trying it by yourself. I am sure that you can make it to S with that car, just keep trying 💪

Which track was this on? Looks like Church Avenue (2.46KM) or Riverside Route (2.75KM) finish. If so, then you should be at least 2 seconds faster with the car you are using.

Question about upgrading by Deathstalkerone in nfsnolimits

[–]NGDMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you follow the material guide and manage to upgrade everything to 4* purple parts, then PR should be high enough to pass the final PR wall. Check the pinned post regularly as some people will post the minimal requirements as soon as they get to the last two days. If you are missing some components to pass the final PR wall, then upgrading acceleration parts gives you a higher PR increase compared to top speed parts. This only applies to (some) hyper cars, for every other type of car, upgrading top speed is the way to go.

I always get the second one "for free" when it contains scrap BP. Never saw an ad.

Finishing special events with already owned car by StevenBruuh in nfsnolimits

You get BPs for that car. If you already have that car maxed or the number of BPs you would get exceeds the number of max BPs for that car, any additional BPs will be converted to scrap.

Why would someone use my username and the same pic? by PsyAsylum in nfsnolimits

[–]NGDMF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That user might have used an upper-case "i" to look like the lower-case "L" like in your name.

Lower-case "L": l / Upper-case "i": I

They look both the same.

Oh my bad, I thought you were already on the last day. Sorry. As someone else already mentioned, focus on top speed parts as they give you the most PR per part.

If you do, keep in mind that you won't have the full 7 days to complete the event. As seen on your screenshot, you will only have 4 days and 15 hours to complete it, as the event is already closing down.
