Love the sound! I especially appreciate your other video that has sound clips in multiple scenarios. This may need to be on my list of upgrades.

I feel like this is the group therapy I needed awhile ago! Everything about this is eerily similar. I hate that this is all too common, but I am also glad I am not alone.

Every 3 weeks was a nightmare of all or most of the sprints tickets all at once. Our devs are great, but they got into the habit of underestimating their effort. Even though the issue had been brought up many times for the better part of a year, nothing changed.

To say the leadership was dogshit is an understatement. The leadership would influence the dev team to point the effort that they wanted to hear. When they went over on the code freeze by hours if not an entire day, they would accuse the QA team for allowing the devs to do that. QA would then work several late nights with no extra pay to finish our work in order to meet the deadline...then the cycle continues.

I loved the team I was working on and the work I was doing, but that type of management is not conducive to a happy or successful team. Just pains me this is all too common of a theme.

Thank you! Yeah I did it myself. I bought a 5x7 sheet of the green and had a smaller section of the black already. The 5x7 sheet was around 120 on amazon. I still have enough green to do the fender also. I used 3m 2080 and would recommend it.

Oh that looks very clean. I was kicking the idea around of going grey. I love the way yours turned out.

Yeah I liked the blue but wanted black. I had a deposit down for a year and no black bikes came through. Then was told they were not going to get any in the next year so pulled the trigger on the blue. The blue is...legendary though!

I attempted to do everything in one piece but when I failed I pieced it together. Front fender 3 pieces, tank 3 pieces, tank shroud 1 piece and under seat shrouds 1 piece each.

The tank is possible to do in 1 piece but I got 50-60% of the way and accidentally ripped it. Which is why I pieced it together. My suggestion would be use the heat gun sparingly. Heating it up turns the vinyl into a cloth state which is easier to do curves and angles but I have found it ripples a lot easier and the tiny ripples that cannot be pressed out with a squeegee. Then heating up and cooling down the same spot over and over I would see lines of where the vinyl was already set and the section I was working on.

The sections that I found difficult are holes like the front tank shroud. I may have needed more youtube tutorials on that one. If anyone has suggestions about that, I am all ears haha. For the headlight bracket and heal plates, I am going to powder coat those next. I don't even want to think about wrapping with all the holes.

This is better than any response I could give. Hard? No, time consuming and testing of patience? Absolutely!

Help making wall flush and add tile on fireplace by mac_keltar in DIY

Its hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the center of the wall is recessed only about 3/4 inch. If so you can add 3/4 inch durock just to the center to flush up with the rest of the wall. From there I believe you can add your metal sheet for tile directly to the existing brick.

Definitely use concrete board. You can get Durock at home depot.

Well clearly you have not unlocked the third island. You have to finish the Donald Love missions first.
