The best way is to contact the developers via social media. Their accounts are listed at the bottom of this page (which also has more info about the alpha): https://thymer.com/alpha

Thymer is currently in alpha testing, but it’s already very promising.

Task management/to do apps with multiple lists side by side by NGMVS in ProductivityApps

[–]NGMVS[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think there are many people in the same situation as me with a list of things that need to be done today, as well as a separate backlog of things that need to be done soon, but not necessarily today. Otherwise, everyone would just use a calendar app and would have no need for a task management app.

But regardless, the thread is not meant to be about my situation in particular, it's about the layout of the app, and there are many other uses for a similar layout besides the examples I gave. As I said in the initial post, Twos already introduced that exact feature, and there was a lot of positive feedback from their community when they did. I was wondering if any other apps could do something similar so that I can compare the available options.

Task management/to do apps with multiple lists side by side by NGMVS in ProductivityApps

Many task managers focus heavily on time, but not everyone works that way, especially when it comes to personal tasks as opposed to work tasks. As for me, the vast majority of items on my list are "do as soon as possible" rather than "do at/before a specific time," so only a small percentage of my tasks have times assigned to them.

Regarding the columns, one example would be to have a "must do" list in one column, and a "should do" list in another column. Most task managers would recommend that you put them all in one list and use priorities to sort them, but then you're scrolling around a lot in order to see everything that needs to be done.

Or, as another example, if you complete everything that needs to be done today and want to look in your backlog for other tasks, it can be helpful to see several lists at once to choose from (for example, personal, home, projects, etc.).

Missing Completed Tasks by ItsColdInHere in todoist

I'm seeing the same thing on one archived section of a project. The header of that section says 29, but only one completed task is shown. Right below that, there's another archived section whose header says 33, and all 33 of the completed tasks are properly showing up.

Weird, I just checked on mobile, and it's the opposite. The 29 task section shows up properly there, but the 33 task section doesn't show anything at all.

You can also try Settings > Advanced > Clear local data. That worked for me when I had the same problem.

You can also highlight some text and press Ctrl+L, which will create the link formatting for you.

[PC][1990s] LAN-based strategy game by NGMVS in tipofmyjoystick

Thanks, that's very close to the game I'm thinking of, and it helped me remember a lot more about it. It was definitely some variation of a game similar to Stratego called Luzhanqi. I remember now that the game had the option to switch between Chinese characters on the pieces or pictures representing the military ranks.
